Green Message is the theme of eight interactive dialogues at the UN Ocean Conference 2022

The 2022 United Nations Ocean Conference will be held in Lisbon from June 27 to July 1, 2022.On 12 February 2022, the International Department of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CGDC) received a notice from the United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and was invited to submit relevant proposals.The notice also introduces eight interactive dialogue topics for the UN Ocean Conference 2022, shared as follows: UN Ocean Conference 2022 1) Addressing Marine pollution.2) Management, protection, conservation and restoration of Marine and coastal ecosystems.3) Minimize and address ocean acidification, deoxygenation and ocean warming.4) Make fisheries sustainable and provide access to Marine resources and markets for small-scale artisanal fishers.5) Promote and strengthen a sustainable Marine economy, particularly for small island developing States and least developed Countries.(6) Increase scientific knowledge, develop research capacity and transfer of Marine technology.7) Enhance the protection and sustainable use of the oceans and their resources through the implementation of international law as reflected in the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea;And 8) Use the interlinkages between Sustainable Development Goal 14 (SDG 14) and other goals to implement the 2030 Agenda.Global ocean Governance is the latest in a series of global environmental governance initiatives launched by THE International Department of Green Development China to promote China’s deep participation in global environmental governance as a think tank.The translation is for reference only.Edit: SY (International Department of Green Society
