The deal is back!ESPN’s Top pick announced that the Pacers sold caris Le Vell, 27, to the rockets for the first round pick, general manager Rafer took a slap in the face and Gordon’s next offer was -1.The Cavs and pacers haggled back and forth before finally agreeing to a deal. The Cavs sent rubio out of contract, a 2022 first-round pick (lottery protection), a 2022 second-round pick (from Houston) and a 2027 second-round pick (from Utah) to the Pacers for Le Vell and a 2022 second-round pick (from Miami). The Cavs have been solid this season, the Pacers are a shoo-in for the first-round pick, and the Rockets’ 2022 second-round pick, expected to be no. 33, has a chance at a treasure trove. The Jazz’s 2027 first-round pick could be used as leverage.Considering that the heat’s second-round pick in 2022 isn’t worth much, the Pacers made a lot of money on the Laville deal.Rockets gm Rafer gave up Le Vell last season and traded him for Oladipo and a second-round pick.Oladipo came to Houston and played poorly, rejecting a contract extension offer from the rockets and naming the Heat as the next pick.Rafer eventually traded Oladipo for Olynyk, Bradley and the 2022 first-round pick in a swap. With Olynyk and Bradley gone at the end of last season, the 2022 first-round pick is no longer available in a swap, the rockets’ equivalent of trading Oladipo for Miami air.Le is averaging 18.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.5 blocks per game, shooting 44.7 percent from the field, 32.3 percent from 3-point range, and blowing the Cavaliers’ front office away with 42 points and eight assists in his last game.Rockets ace Tate thought he could play with his friend Le Vell, but rafer did it.Le Vell is excited about joining Cleveland and finally getting another chance to play in the playoffs.Pacers coach Rick Carlisle confirmed the deal was done and said Le was a great player, happy to work with him and wished him good luck. Many rockets fans said last season that rafer traded Le Vell for Oladipo at a loss.Rafer certainly wouldn’t admit it, and the pacers-Cavs deal hit him in the face. With the Cavs acquiring le Velle, Gordon’s options are limited. While there are still several teams interested in Gordon, and the rockets are still evaluating him, Rafer is being careful not to lose money again.
